The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library wants patrons to remember some of the services they have.
Director Jerri Hawkins says that outside of having books and other regular library services, there are also some programs that many may enjoy. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio of a few.
“Don’t forget about our Memory Lab if you have some old memories you want to set up for those family friends. And if it’s a clear night here and not too cold, maybe you want to check out our telescope to go out and see those winter stars as well.”
Hawkins mentions that the Memory Lab is used to digitize photographs and videos, and that the telescope can be checked out by anyone with a library card to observe cosmic bodies like stars and planets.
