An annual Christmas fundraiser is happening now at the Churdan Public Library.

Library Director Shari Minnehan says there is a silent auction currently underway with over 60 donated items that people can bid on until 5pm on via their Facebook page and the final bids for in-person, phone call or text is by noon on Saturday. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio, the proceeds from the fundraiser will be used towards computer upgrades as well as other general expenses. Then, Minnehan notes that Santa Claus will be visiting with kids from noon-1pm and as kids come into the library, they can also get signed up for drawings that the Churdan Lion’s Club will do beginning at 1pm.
