Teresa Adamson receives a $1,000 check from Raccoon Valley Radio Co-Owner John McGee through the Caring Christmas Cash Giveaway.

Raccoon Valley Radio has finished its Caring Christmas Giveaway for 2025, and has awarded three individuals a grand prize of $1,000.

Teresa Adamson was registered for the drawing on KKRF at Adel Winterset TV in Adel, and when she was called with the news that she had won, she was overcome with emotion.

“Well thank you so much! God bless you. Thank you.”

Adamson says that the good news is very welcome after a few rough months. She was one of three winners of the Christmas Cash Giveaway, with the other winners coming from KGRA in Jefferson and KDLS in Perry.
