An organization in Greene County is looking for women who would like some financial support to achieve higher education.

According to PEO Chapter CZ, they offer scholarships to local women or those who have a local connection and who are continuing their education. The local chapter of the international philanthropic educational organization says these scholarships are for women who had their post-secondary studies interrupted or who are currently getting additional education or degrees in a post-secondary institution. 

The non-profit group says their Chapter CZ has been giving these scholarships since 1990, utilizing funds that they raised through their newest addition of a pickleball tournament, along with salad luncheons and “dinners with a purpose.”
