Coach Zach Beekman’s 10 person Greene County High School wrestling team had two individual champions and placed fourth as a team at the Carroll Invitational on Saturday. Juniors Brennan Jacobs at 106 lbs. and Degan Miller at 165 lbs. both won their weight classes with junior Jaron Jacobs second at 120 lbs. Freshman Kading Winters placed third at 132 lbs. with fourth place finishes from sophomore Kole Johnson-Peterson (113), junior Nehemiah Hoyt (190), and junior Mason Haley (285).

Carroll won the team title with 176 points, followed by Westwood (Sloan) 163, ACGC 160, Greene County 120.5, Manson-Northwest Webster 102.5, Storm Lake 96.5, Denison-Schleswig 93.5, OABCIG (Ida Grove) 92, Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson (81.5, Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) and Pocahontas Area each with 54 points.
