Christmas is this week, and many entities will be closed for the holiday season.

Guthrie Center City Hall will close at noon on Christmas Eve, and be closed Christmas day. The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library will also be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, with the Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach closed on the same days. The Guthrie County Courthouse will also be closed Wednesday and Thursday.

In Panora, City Hall will be closed for half the day on Christmas Eve, and Christmas day, along with the following day. Trash services in Panora will be delayed by a day, as they will not be out on Wednesday, and the Panora Public Library is closing early Wednesday, and will be closed Thursday and Friday. In Stuart, City Hall will be closed in observance of Christmas, with the Stuart Public Library to be closed Wednesday through Saturday, and returning to regular hours on Monday.
