An annual holiday event is coming to an end in Perry, though there’s still time to view the festive entries.
Trees, nativities, Santa collections and more are on display throughout both floors of the Carnegie Library Museum through January 3. Perry Adult Services Librarian Mindy Farmer says this year’s festival includes a record 61 entries from businesses, churches, organizations and individuals.
She invites community members to check out the holiday entries and to vote for their favorite ones.
“There’s all kinds of different holiday displays to see and it really showcases the creativity of the people in our community. So I would encourage you to go get one last glance, get your votes in and visit the Carnegie.”
The Festival of Trees will be available to view for free while the museum is open. Community members will be able to vote for their favorite displays through January 3.
The Carnegie Library is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is closed Sundays and Mondays and will also be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
