Later tonight, everyone can enjoy a holiday classic, as performed by a local group in Greene County.
The Greene County Community Theatre presents “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens and adapted by Orson Welles. Director Josh Tuel says the play was recorded by the cast and it will be shown on their Facebook and Instagram pages tonight at 7pm. He points out that he found the story was done by Orson Welles and wanted to put their own stamp on the performance with recorded violin music by one of their board members, Jennifer Powers, along with recorded carolling with some of the cast members.
Tuel has a special request for those interested in listening to their show tonight.
“If they could ‘like it,’ share it, make some comments on it. It would really help us to get that feedback. People put a lot of time into putting all of this together and that feedback is always nice to hear. Even if there are things that you think we could improve or suggestions for future productions, we would really like to hear those things.”
Tuel thanks the cast, as well as Raccoon Valley Radio for assisting with the audio recordings. The full cast list can be found below.
