Those looking to get their bikes out for a winter ride can register for an annual event in Perry.

The 49th annual Bike Ride to Rippey is set to return on Saturday, February 7. Perry Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti says early bird registration will end at midnight on December 31. She adds that a discount will be given as incentive for signing up early. Early bird pricing is $40 and the cost will go up to $45 after the first of the year.

Pasutti details that the first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative pin. Riders will also receive a T-shirt, discounts at area shops and restaurants and an event wristband with specials and freebies. 

Pasutti says the registration proceeds will support the Perry Chamber so that it can host community events throughout the year.
