Owen Myers, a 2025 Perry graduate and member of the Bluejays basketball team, was recognized during halftime of the boys contest between the Bluejays and Roland-Story at home. Myers’ jersey will be on display at Perry High School, as both the Bluejays and Jeyettes received new jerseys this year.

Myers’ set a school record for boys basketball last season in 2025, scoring 47 points in a single game to set a new school record. Over his career with the Bluejays, Owen scored a total of 1,044 career points, with an electric senior season scoring 427 points, 139 rebounds, 71 assists and 72 steals.

Myers’ jersey will remain on display at Perry High School.
