The Panora Public Library is preparing for the new calendar year with a fun way to celebrate.

Library Director Molly Allen says that they will be taking part in National Puzzle Month in January, with a puzzle and board game swap. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio how individuals can participate.

“Anyone can bring in a puzzle or a board game that they no longer need, that they’ve used, but still has all the pieces and they just don’t want anymore. And they can then pick up a new-to-them puzzle or board game.”

Allen mentions that there will also be plenty of extra puzzles or board games, so that if people don’t have one to exchange but would still like to pick one out, they can. She adds that there is also plenty of time to plan to attend, as they will hold the swap on January 16 and 17, 2026 during the library’s regular open hours.
