The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Basketball Team have been playing well over the past four games, getting back to the .500 mark for winter break.

The Tigers began the year 0-4, losing to Norwalk, Des Moines Christian, Dallas Center-Grimes, and North Polk…all teams inside the top-10 for Class 4A in Iowa. However, those matches strengthened ADM’s chemistry, responding with four consecutive victories against Carroll, Winterset, Bondurant-Farrar, and Ballard.

Tiger sophomore Ella Subbert is leading the squad in scoring with 96 points, followed by junior Alexis Maxwell, who has 70, and senior Ellis Smith with 68 points. Sophomore Aubrey Noring has 19 assists to charge the way, as Subbert has 64 rebounds to go along with 17 blocks. ADM is also receiving great contributions off the bench from junior Bella Spreaker and freshman Macie Leinen.

The Tigers are sitting at 4-4 on the season (3-1 inside the Raccoon River Conference), and will participate in a non-conference battle versus Van Meter on January 3rd in Adel.
