The Panorama Girls Basketball Team is growing day by day with a younger squad, as senior Morgan Crees has already scored over 100 points through the first seven games.
The Panthers have a 2-5 overall record (2-3 inside the West Central Standings), getting wins versus West Central Valley and Interstate 35, then taking defeats to Woodward-Granger, IKM-Manning, Madrid, Earlham, and AC/GC. Crees is one of three seniors for Panorama, along with Lydia Lleshi and Peyton Walker, as she is the leading scorer tallying 115 total points. Panthers Head Coach Randy Miller shares that Crees’ leadership is remarkable.
“She’s very vocal in huddles and in practice. So she’s really been a pretty good leader as far as with the younger girls. Just trying to help them figure out how things work in varsity basketball. She gets frustrated sometimes, but she’s been on some really good teams, and she hates to lose, so she’s willing to do whatever she can do to help us win games.”
Panorama will try to rack up some wins, as they emerge from winter break, resuming the season in Pleasantville, taking on the Trojans on January 5th.
