A non-profit organization is helping out families with children to give them a free opportunity for entertainment in Jefferson during winter break.

According to the Jefferson Kiwanis Club, they are offering the first 84 youth that are 18 and under a free ticket to see the Disney movie, “Zootopia 2” at the Sierra Community Theatre tomorrow for the 2pm matinee. Sierra Theatre Manager Sarah Nicholson is proud to have first-run movies for the people to enjoy in Jefferson.

“Anytime I’m able to, that is what I book, the openings, the big stuff. It does annoy me that we have to keep it a couple of extra weeks and being on screen I know that can limit like foot traffic on week two or three. But honestly, the public really seems to like it and I really love playing the new stuff. It makes me feel like we are really succeeding as an independent, non-profit theater.”

No registration is necessary and it is on a first come, first serve basis until 84 youth tickets are reached.
