It has been an exciting start to Kate Schuttler’s rookie season with the Perry Jayettes basketball team, as Schutter wraps up 2025 as number four in the state for rebounds. In the Jayettes final game of 2025 against Nevada, Schuttler wrapped up the night in double overtime with 14 rebounds and six points.

Schuttler and Lily Myers spent most of 2025 battling for the top spot in rebounds for the Jayettes. With her performance against Nevada, Schuttler surpassed Myers, wrapping up 2025 with 106 rebounds. Myers currently sits at fifth in the state in rebounds with 105.

Schuttler, Myers, and Jayettes are out of action due to the holiday break, but return to the court on Tuesday, January 6th, traveling to the Caseys Center in Des Moines to face off against the South Hamilton Hawks.
