The West Central Valley Boys Basketball Team is a game over .500 at winter break, getting good contributions from multiple players.

The Wildcats are 4-3 through seven games, with victories over AC/GC, Ogden, Panorama, and Red Oak, with losses to Des Moines Christian, Earlham, and Madrid. The top four scorers for West Central Valley are senior Kade Wilson, junior Colton Lindsay, junior Garrett Wolfe, and senior Aiden Clauson. As a team, the Wildcats are shooting 41 percent from the field, 29 percent from beyond the arc, and 50 percent from the free throw line. 

In addition, West Central Valley has also racked up 59 assists and 32 steals as a unit. The Wildcats will resume the season on January 5th on the road at Nodaway Valley High School, taking on the Wolverines at 7:30pm.
