It’s not too late to get rewarded for reading at the Perry Public Library.

Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper says the Winter Library Program started on December 1 and runs through February 28. This year’s theme is “Booked for the Winter.” She states that the program is open to children, teens and adults. She details that everyone can participate by tracking each day they read through an app or paper calendar to earn prizes.

“It’s a lot of fun during the doldrums of the season after the holiday season.”

Pieper adds children and teens can track reading points for mini-prizes and up to four free books. Adults can earn rewards too by tracking the days they read to be entered into a bi-monthly mini prize drawing.

All three age groups can also earn grand prize tickets.

Registration is still available for the Winter Library Program. Anyone interested can contact the library at 515-465-3569 or click here to sign up.
