Those looking for a fun project over the winter break can join the Dallas County Conservation Board on Friday.

Outreach Coordinator Jeni Baker says Critter Crafts: Birds and Bird Feeders has been rescheduled for Friday. The program will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Forest Park Museum, 14581 K Avenue, Perry.

Baker details that participants will be able to create a bird feeder using pinecones, peanut butter and bird seed. She adds that the program is geared towards younger children as a story will be read aloud along with the craft.

The event is free and Baker encourages families to register online as there are a limited number of spots left. More information can be found through the DCCB’s Eventbrite or Facebook pages.
