The Perry Jayettes wrestling team remain out of action due to the holiday break, but return to action on Tuesday at Panorama High School for the Panorama Girls Wrestling Invite. Joey Maylum looks to advance back to a positive record, as she wrapped up 2025 with a 5-5 record.

In her rookie season, Maylum has found success on the mat, winning four of her five matches by fall. Maylum picked up her first victory at the SWAT Duals to open up the season, winning her first match by fall in 15 seconds. After not competing in the final meet of 2025, the freshman looks for win number six on Tuesday. Maylum and the Jayettes will face off against wrestlers from: ACGC, Atlantic, Creston, and Panorama.

Maylum and the Jayettes wrestling team are out of action for one more week before traveling to Panorama High School on Tuesday for the Panorama Girls Wrestling Invite. The action is set to begin at 5pm.
