The Dallas County Hospital recently announced that it is accepting new patients in its Outpatient Ambulatory Services Center.
Jess Nevitt, with the ambulatory services center, says patients can receive care at Dallas County Hospital instead of having to drive to Des Moines.
“If you are receiving IV antibiotics, if you have a wound that needs dressing changes, if you need labs drawn, if you have a Foley catheter that needs monthly dressing changes, we can do that here upstairs at the ambulatory outpatient services.”
The newly remodeled area is located on the second floor atrium at Dallas County Hospital.
Nevitt adds that those looking to receive care through the Outpatient Ambulatory Services Center should request a referral from their primary care or specialty physicians. For more information, contact the Dallas County Hospital at 515-465-3547.
