Panorama junior Jessica Randol discusses her favorite style of dance, as she reflects on the great performance the Panthers showcased at the 2026 Iowa State Dance/Drill Team Association Championships in early December.

Panorama made a statement at state dance, marking five soloists inside the top-10, while also exemplifying their commitment to the classroom, receiving the Distinguished Academic Award for maintaining a Grade Point Average between 3.5 and 4.0. Panther junior Jessica Randol reveals that the environment at state was surreal, and is glad she got to spend it with some of her closest friends. She illustrates that her favorite style of dance is Hip-Hop.

“I’m into the high energy (dances) because you can really perform and be someone you normally don’t show others who you are, and you just get to have fun.”

Panorama is led by Head Coach Kristi Vance, who’s been at the helm at the high school level for the past 21 years, and is also the owner and director of the Main Street Dance Studios in Panora.
