10 RRNW Wrestlers Place 1st at Clarke Girls Tourney

The Raccoon River Northwest Wrestling Team, who Adel-DeSoto-Minburn partners with, participated in their 13th match on Tuesday in Clarke, with the team taking first place overall, and 10 athletes coming out on top.

RRNW scored a total of 297.5 points to win the meet over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and Knoxville. In getting the victory, RRNW had Mya Van Beek (100 lbs.), Cassidy McCallister (105 lbs.), Katie Biscoglia (110 lbs.), Ellie Hancock (125 lbs.), Izzy Duncan (130 lbs.), Bethann Templeman (135 lbs.), Calista Rodish (140 lbs.), Natalie Keller (145 lbs.), Bella Bruins (155 lbs.), and Kelsey Kinney (170 lbs.) all tally first place in their respective weight divisions.

RRNW will return to the mat on Saturday for the Trojan Tangle in West Marshall, starting at 10am. The full results from the Clarke Girls Tournament can be found below.
