Those looking to learn more about bees can join the Dallas County Conservation for a program next weekend.

Outreach Coordinator Jeni Baker says What’s a Bee Survey? will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, January 17 at Forest Park Museum, 14581 K Avenue, outside of Perry.

She adds that the program will allow residents to learn about bees and how they can help them. Baker details  that the Bumble Bee Atlas will be introduced during the session and community members can learn how they can get involved with the surveys. 

While the program is free, Baker encourages residents to register through DCCB’s Eventbrite page.
