An important reminder for anyone who is an avid hunter or angular in Iowa.

Iowa Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer Aron Arthur says the 2025 hunting and fishing licenses expire after today. He urges anyone who wants to do those types of outdoor activities to make sure they have a valid license to do so. According to the DNR, a hunting and a fishing license is $22, a combination license with hunting and fishing together is $55 with the associated fees included, and a bonus fishing line is an additional $14.

Greene County residents can purchase their licenses from the Greene County Recorder’s Office in the Greene County Courthouse during normal business hours or by utilizing the GoOutdoorsIowa mobile app.
