The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tomorrow.

The meeting will begin with two keys to the city being awarded to Mayor Jim Peters and Robert Fisher.

The council will hear an update from McGrath Consulting about the city’s facility needs assessment for the police and fire station. 

Items on the agenda seeking approval include council appointments for the Planning and Zoning Commission right of way services agreement for the Adel Recreation Trail Project, pre-annexation agreements and pay applications and resolutions accepting the Adel Evans Park Trail Connections and Adel N. 15th Street Bridge Replacement over Butler Creek Projects.

The council will also discuss collaboration with Dallas County for the 288th Trail Project and rapid flashing beacons for Raccoon River Valley Bike Trail Crossing on Highway 169 and a farm lease.

The council may also go into closed session for pending litigation and to discuss real estate.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. tomorrow at Adel City Hall, 301 S 10th Street.
