Those holding onto their live Christmas trees will have one more chance to dispose of them in Adel and Perry.    

The Cities of Adel and Perry announce that the final Christmas tree pick-up will be held this week.

Trees will be picked up tomorrow in Adel. Residents are reminded to ensure trees are free of all decorations, lights and bags. The city adds that all other yard waste may also be set out for pick-up on those days.

The City of Perry says it will pick up Christmas trees and evergreen garlands or wreaths from residential areas on Wednesday. All decorations should be removed and residents are asked not to place trees or greenery in disposal bags. The city adds that trees and greenery should be placed by the curb by 7 a.m. to assure pickup.
