The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library continues its popular Friday Story Hours into the new year.

Library Director Jerri Hawkins states that these story hours are held from 10-10:30am and are geared toward children of kindergarten age and younger. Each weekly session features a different theme, with children enjoying a story related to that theme followed by a corresponding craft activity. Hawkins notes that this event is a source of year-round enjoyment for children, with especially creative themes often incorporated during the holiday season.
