It’s a non-conference girl/boy high school basketball doubleheader tonight on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com when the Greene County Rams visit the Manson-Northwest Webster Cougars in Manson. Coverage begins around 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow.

The Rams are in the midst of three doubleheaders in a row on the road. Greene County played last Friday in Jewell vs. South Hamilton, and tomorrow night the Rams will be at Perry before hosting Grand View Christian (Des Moines) on Friday the 16th to begin two nights of recognition for the 2026 Greene County High School Athletics Hall of Fame Class.

The Greene County boys broke a nine game losing streak on Friday when Coach Chris Nelson’s team won and is now 2-9 after defeating South Hamilton by a 53-40 final. Coach Tori Ogden’s girls fell to the Hawks 51-41 and are 3-8 overall. The Cougars have similar records at 2-8 for girls and 3-6 for boys.
