The Raccoon River Northwest Wrestling Team, who Adel-DeSoto-Minburn partners with, scored over 300 points to be named the champions of the Trojan Tangle in State Center on Saturday.

RRNW competed at West Marshall High School, notching 307.5 points in a field of 15 teams, ahead of Woodward-Granger and Carroll. Eight athletes from RRNW garnered first place, including Mya Van Beek (100 lbs.), Cassidy McCallister (105 lbs.), Katie Biscoglia (110 lbs.), Addison McGinness (115 lbs.), Ellie Hancock (125 lbs.), Bethann Templemann (135 lbs.), Calista Rodish (140 lbs.), Natalie Keller (145 lbs.), and Bella Bruins (155 lbs).

In addition, Bruins was able to earn her 100th high school career victory.

RRNW will return to action tomorrow for a home triangular versus Des Moines Public Schools, Dowling Catholic, and Valley at Prairieview School in Waukee, starting at 6pm. The full results from the Trojan Tangle can be found below.
