The West Central Valley Girls Basketball Team was in action on Monday in Lamoni, grabbing a 56-19 win behind great offensive performances from junior Addilyn Richter and senior Talia Williams.
The Wildcats jumped up early on the Demons, leading 19-2 after the first quarter. Lamoni put up 8 points in the second quarter, but West Central Valley tallied another 15 points to take a 34-10 advantage into the halftime locker room. The Wildcats outscored the Demons 19-9 in the second half to roll on to a 56-19 victory to get to 3-8 on the season, while Lamoni drops to 1-9 overall.
West Central Valley junior Addilyn Richter led all scores with 13 points, followed by senior Talia Williams with 12, and freshman Lily Clausen, who concluded with 8 points.
The Wildcats will return to Stuart tonight to host the Ogden Bulldogs, as girls get going at 6pm, with boys to follow.
