The Perry School Board met in regular session on Monday.

Following a discussion that started during the December meeting, the board approved a high school Spanish trip to be held in summer of 2027.

Other items on the agenda that were approved included a junior class prom request, modified supplemental amount for at-risk/dropout prevention, early graduation requests, renaming Perry Band Olympics to Kinney-Cook Perry Band Olympics and an audit engagement agreement for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2026 through June 30, 2028.

Following the recent announcement of Clark Wicks retiring as superintendent at the end of the current school year, the board will kick off the search process during a work session at 5:30 p.m. today at the School Administration Building.
