The West Central Valley Bowling Teams competed in Osceola on Monday in the Clarke Triangular, finishing second.

The Wildcats battled against the Indians and the Demons of Lamoni, who forfeited the match. West Central Valley girls fell 2378 to 1628, and the boys lost 3068 to 1984 to Clarke Community. 

Both squads are now 3-1 on the season, with victories over Creston, Lenox, and Mount Ayr, before suffering their first loss to Clarke Community on Monday. West Central Valley will travel to Bowlerama Lanes in Des Moines on Saturday for a multi-team invitational, featuring Lenox, Lamoni, and Mount Ayr, beginning at 1pm.
