The Adel City Council met in regular session on Tuesday.

Peters received a key for his 38 years of service to the city, four as a city council member and 34 as mayor. Fisher was awarded a key in recognition of his dedication to improving accessibility for individuals with physical disabilities.

Peters was also awarded an Ambassador for Life plaque by Dennis Leininger and Council Member James West.
