The AC/GC Chargers split their games against the Woodward-Granger Hawks Tuesday night.

The Chargers girls team got things started off hot on offense, taking a commanding 13-2 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Hawks battled back in the second quarter, outscoring AC/GC 14-10, and the halftime break saw a score of 23-16 in favor of the Chargers. Both teams got back to it in the third quarter, with AC/GC leading scoring 17-16 and going into the final quarter up 40-32. In the fourth quarter the Chargers put up a 17-12 performance, and finished with the 57-44 victory.

In the boys game, the Chargers kept things close in the first quarter, ending with a score of 15-12. The Hawks pulled away a bit in the second quarter though, and the score going into halftime had AC/GC trailing 34-22. Both teams kept it tight once again in the third quarter, and they went into the last eight minutes with the Hawks up 44-30. AC/GC was held to single digits in the final quarter, and the game ended with a 61-37 loss for the team. Both teams return to action Friday night when they host the Earlham Cardinals.
