The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday morning.

The Board heard from Compensation Board representative Eric Reinhart, who shared that the cost of living was expected to go up 2.8 percent. He added that they suggested a 15 percent increase to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s salary, a four percent increase for the Board of Supervisors, six percent for the county attorney, and seven percent for the county auditor, treasurer and recorder. The Board took no action, but will keep the suggestions in mind during budgetary planning.

The Board then set the public hearing for the Scott Calmer Minor Subdivision for January 27th at 9am, to have the Board Chair and Vice Chair be the ones to sit in on employee performance reviews, and shared that all entities needing to submit names for representatives on the Emergency Medical Services advisory board had been notified.
