The Dallas County Cattlemen’s Association will hold its annual banquet this weekend.

Vice President Noah Taylor says the banquet will be held on Saturday at Country Lane Lodge in Adel. The social part of the banquet will start at 5:30 p.m. A prime rib dinner will be served at 7 p.m., followed by an auction.

Taylor details that funds raised during the evening will be used to support local youth beef projects, scholarships and beef promotion throughout the year.

He adds that the dinner is free to 2026 association members. Tickets can be purchased for $25 at the door.
