
The Panorama Basketball Teams will be traveling to Greenfield tonight to face Nodaway Valley in a non-conference matchup.
For the girls contest, the Panthers come into the game with a record of 3-8 overall, while the Wolverines are ranked 14th in Class 2A, posting a mark of 11-1 on the year so far. Panorama senior Morgan Crees is averaging close to 16 points per game on 36 percent shooting from the floor and 73 percent from the free throw line. Nodaway Valley senior Izzy Eisbach is sitting at 34 points per contest on 40 percent shooting from the field and 85 percent from the free throw line.
On the boys side, the Panthers are still seeking their first victory (0-10 on the season), and the Wolverines are 1-10 in 11 tries, with a win over Griswold. Panorama junior Cruz Crandall season’s scoring average is 15 points on 38 percent shooting and 80 percent from the free throw line. Nodaway Valley junior Ty Rardin is right behind at 14 points per contest on 34 percent shooting from the floor and 73 percent from the free throw line.
The Panthers lead the historical series for both the boys and girls at 12-2. The game is set to tip off from Nodaway Valley High School in Greenfield, starting with the girls at 6pm and the boys to follow.
