With the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday on Monday, it’s important to be aware of closures around Dallas County. 

For Adel residents, Adel City Hall will be closed on Monday for observance of the holiday, though garbage routes will remain the same. The Adel Public Library will also be closed for MLK Day and will reopen on Tuesday. 

On the county level, the Dallas County Courthouse and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach of Dallas County will both be shut. 

Perry residents are reminded that all Perry City buildings will be open regular hours on Monday, along with the McCreary Community Building and Perry Public Library.
