The Panorama Boys Wrestling Team competed in their ninth meet being a quadrangular in Afton on Thursday, defeating East Union 37-36, then lost to Martensdale-St. Mary’s 54-15 and Southwest Valley 46-14.
Key wins for the Panthers in the matches included Blake Schwartz, at weight class 165, beating Martensdale-St. Mary’s Brody Johansen by an 18-3 technical fall, Caleb Prescott (215 lbs.) winning over Martensdale-St. Mary’s Caleb Puderbaugh in a 10-2 major decision, Kyle Lestina (132 lbs.) defeating Southwest Valley’s Wyatt Shires by a 14-12 decision, and Dylan Donovan (157 lbs.) claiming victory over Southwest Valley’s Brylan Marks by an 18-1 technical fall.
