The search for a new superintendent of the Perry Community School District is underway. 

Superintendent Clark Wicks announced his retirement from the district at the end of the current school year on January 5. Following that announcement, School Board President Linda Andorf says a work session was held on January 13 and board members discussed the start of the search process.

She adds that the board decided to use a search firm to aid in the hiring process. Andorf details that board members will interview three search firms on Monday.

She explains that the superintendent search process is just getting started. More information will be shared as the search continues and Andorf details that community members will be invited to share their input.
