The Bulldogs improved to 3-10 while the Rockets fell to 4-8. Coach Josh Cerveny reports his squad was led in scoring by juniors Blaise Schilling and Trevon Keely with 12 points apiece, and they had 11 from senior Phoenix Hartman. Unofficially, junior Bryce Stephenson hauled in nine rebounds and five each from Hartman and Schilling. Hartman was also credited with four steals. The game was tied 25-25 at the half, but trail4ed 44-32 at the end of the third quarter. He added, “The difference is tonight we continued to compete, so we can build on this. We have to be better on defense though. We have to turn the page quickly with another tough game vs. Coon Rapids-Bayard.”
Tonight, P-C is back home in Churdan for a Rolling Valley Activities Conference twin bill vs. Coon Rapids-Bayard’s Crusaders.
