The West Central Valley Boys Wrestling hosted a home quadrangular in Stuart on Thursday, featuring three schools, as the Wildcats defeated Pleasantville 42-33, beat Ogden 42-37, and lost to Interstate 35 62-18.
Key victories for the Wildcats in each match included Cylir Joint, at weight class 132, winning over Pleasantville’s Cale Sorenson by a fall (2 minute and 27 seconds), Logan Campbell (215 lbs.) defeating Ogden’s Cash Williams with a 39-second fall, then also beating I-35’s Paton Morrison, and Tryce Dlouhy (175 lbs.) beating I-35’s Walker Nelson with a 57-second fall.
West Central Valley will return to the mat tomorrow in Panora for the West Central Activities Conference Tournament, starting at 9am. The full results from the Wildcat Quadrangular can be found below.
