The Adair County Cattlemen’s annual banquet is tonight in Greenfield.

Member Clark Dolch says that starting at 5pm, there will be a social hour at the Adair County Fairgrounds, with a dinner catered by Chuckwagon Restaurant starting at 6pm. He explains that following the dinner the annual meeting will take place,which includes the awarding of their Friend of the Cattlemen Award, Heifer Project Award, and their scholarships. Dolch shares that there will also be a live auction, with some of the big ticket items being an anniversary edition Ruger 10/22 rifle, a Marlin 4570 rifle, and a couple of gun safes. The dinner will be prime rib, with a burger option for children.
