Panorama’s Hansen and Schwartz Tally 1st Place During 2026 WCAC Wrestling Tourney

The Panorama Boys Wrestling Team participated in the 2026 West Central Activities Conference Tournament on Saturday in Panora, with Sam Hansen and Blake Schwartz garnering first place finishes.

The Panthers racked up 98.5 points for fifth place, behind AC/GC and Earlham. Panorama’s Sam Hansen, at weight class 106, won the top place with an 8-2 decision over Interstate 35’s Ryker Anderson. In addition, Blake Schwartz (165 lbs.) grabbed first place with a fall (1 minute and 55 seconds) over Woodward-Granger’s Will Atkinson. Syler Shaffer got third place with a fall (1:11) against Woodward-Granger’s Cale Hansen.

Panorama will travel to Colfax-Mingo High School tomorrow for a quadrangular, beginning at 5:30pm. The full results from the 2026 WCAC Wrestling Tournament can be found below.
