
Greene County and Madrid will play a non-conference girls’ basketball game in the high school gym in Jefferson tonight. Action starts at 6 p.m. with two quarters of JV basketball before the varsity game around 6:45 tonight on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
Coach Tori Ogden’s Rams have a 5-9 overall record and are coming off a home loss on Friday night to Grand View Christian (Des Moines), 68-35. The five victories are the most in Coach Ogden’s five seasons leading the program, as are the three victories in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play. Madrid is 7-6 and also trying to rebound from a one-sided loss on Friday night to Class 3A second rated Des Moines Christian.
After tonight, the Rams have their longest road trip of the HOIAC season on the horizon. Greene County has a girl/boy twin bill in Monroe vs. PCM coming up on Friday night. Both games will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyraccoonvalleyradio.com.
