
Heart of Iowa Conference basketball continues tonight for the Perry basketball teams as the Jayettes and Bluejays travel to Munroe to PCM High School. Tip off is set to begin at 6pm for the girls, with the boys to follow around 7:30. The Perry HyVee pregame show is set to begin at 5:45pm on KDLS.
The Jayettes look at an uphill battle as PCM is currently ranked seventh, and is undefeated in conference play at 10-0. Lily Myers and Kate Schuttler look to continue to find success on the board, as both girls lead the Jayettes with 139 rebounds each. Myers, also looks to lead the offense, currently averaging 11 points per game with 137 so far this season.
The Bluejays look to keep momentum on their side and achieve the upset against PCM, after an upset victory against West Marshall on Friday, 65-57. Gustavo Drahos continues to excel, scoring 23 against the Trojans, keeping his average at 21 points per game. Freshman Luke Adair had his first start as well, and put up an impressive 21 points against the Trojans. Drahos and Adair look to keep momentum going for the Bluejays, traveling to Munroe tonight to battle the Mustangs.
