Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach reminds 4-H’ers of an opportunity open to them.

Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that the application process for State Project Awards is still currently open. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio more about it, and who can apply.

“So this is for all 9th through 12th grade 4-H members. If you’ve participated in any leadership experiences in or out of 4-H related to any project area, if you’re involved in your community, if you are interested in the process, we encourage you to apply for those.”

Savage mentions that individuals will have an opportunity to interview and go through the process starting in March, after the application deadline of February 1st. She adds that if anyone would like some help applying for the award, just contact her and she’d be happy to help.
