The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.

The Board heard updates about the Adel Emergency Medical Services Station and recommended hiring Turner Construction as the Construction Manager At Risk for the project.

The Board also heard a facility-wide facility-wide master plan presentation from the conservation department. 

The Board also discussed scheduling bridges for insurance coverage and recommended scheduling the three larger bridges in the county, the Raccoon River Valley Trail Bridge in Adel, the RRVT Trestle Bridge west of Perry and the Mosquito Creek Bridge north-northwest of Redfield, for coverage.

Items on the agenda that were approved included appointing Collin Gross as a Washington Township Trustee and amending the official county newspaper. 

The Board also continued budget workshops for Planning and Development, Emergency Medical Services and Department 99. 

An additional budget workshop will be held for the Auditor at 11 a.m. tomorrow inside the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, 800 Court Street, in Adel.
