The Panorama Girls Basketball Team hosted West Central Valley in Panora on Tuesday, earning their fifth win of the season at 43-30.
The first quarter was close, seeing the Panthers possess an 11-7 lead. The Wildcats won the second quarter 8-6, but still were behind 17-15 at the halftime break. Panorama outscored West Central Valley 26-15 in the second half to distance themselves on their way to a 43-30 victory.
Panthers senior Morgan Crees was the high player with 16 points, followed by sophomore Ashley Crees and sophomore Ruth Fett with 7 points each. On the Wildcats side, senior Macy Long had 11 points, then it was junior Addilyn Richter and senior Talia Williams with 6 points a piece.
Both West Central Valley and Panorama are now 5-10 on the season. The Panthers will host AC/GC in Panora on Friday, while the Wildcats will hit the road to Madrid on Friday.
