RRNW Captures 2026 CIML Girls Wrestling Tourney Title

The Raccoon River Northwest Wrestling Team, who Adel-DeSoto-Minburn partners with, took home the gold in the 2026 Central Iowa Metropolitan League Girls Conference Tournament on Tuesday.

RRNW scored 280 points to win over Ankeny, Southeast Polk, North Metro, and Valley. Overall, six athletes tallied first place including Mya Van Beek (100 lbs.), Cassidy McCallister (105 lbs.), Katie Biscoglia (110 lbs.), Addison McGinness (115 lbs.), Ellie Hancock (125 lbs.), and Calista Rodish (140 lbs.).

Quincy Cooper (110 lbs.), Alise Moser (120 lbs.), Izzy Duncan (130 lbs.), Bethann Templeman (135 lbs.), Natalie Keller (145 lbs.), Bella Bruins (155 lbs.), Kadyn Tierney (190 lbs.), and Alani Pierce all garnered second place for RRNW during the competition.

RRNW will return the mat on Saturday for the Colfax-Mingo Wrestling Tournament, starting at 9am. The full results from the CIML Wrestling Tournament can be found below.
